Developing HBO Max’s PMO Intranet for Global Ops

From Fragmented Resources to a Cohesive Hub: Building HBO Max PMO’s Intranet and Brand System

Overview

I led the end-to-end design and development of an internal intranet portal and branding system for the HBO Max Program Management Office. The engagement included creating a new visual identity for the PMO and building a scalable, user-centered platform to support internal communications, onboarding, and resource management.

PROBLEM

PMO staff lacked a centralized, intuitive space to locate team resources, understand operational workflows, and communicate their work to stakeholders. Additionally, there was no cohesive brand identity to represent the PMO within the larger WarnerMedia ecosystem.

APPROACH

Brand Design: Created a custom PMO logo inspired by the HBO visual system and developed branded templates for presentations and internal docs (Adobe Illustrator, Google Slides).
UX Research: Conducted user interviews, affinity mapping, and usability testing to uncover Project Manager workflows and pain points.
Information Architecture: Worked closely with users and stakeholders to define a site map that balanced findability with scalability.
Web Development: Designed and deployed a 25+ page intranet portal using Google Sites and Google Analytics.
Collaboration: Led sprint cycles with a cross-continental virtual team, aligning stakeholders across time zones and departments.

OUTCOME

Significantly reduced resource search time and internal communication friction
Portal became the foundation for PMO onboarding and stakeholder alignment

Delivered strategic roadmap and final presentation to HBO Max executives

Overview

As a creative lead and brand systems engineer, I partnered with creators—including influencers, podcasters, artists, and educators—to build scalable digital ecosystems around their vision. Each client had a strong voice but lacked the strategic infrastructure to turn ideas into long-term impact. Across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, podcasts, and digital products, I architected a modular system:

Challenge

Key Learnings

Creators are products. Each requires structured brand foundations and an adaptable system—not just visuals.
Consistency > Virality. Reusable content systems outperform one-off viral moments over time.
Platform fluency is UX fluency. Web design, monetization flows, and media formats must all align seamlessly across tools (Skool, Shopify, YouTube, etc.).

Modernizing Operations, Strengthening Culture, and Expanding Impact Across Campus Programming

Overview

After a year as Films Coordinator overseeing 75+ screenings and cultural events, I was elected Commissioner of the UCSB Associated Students Program Board—an established, student-run nonprofit with a $1M budget. I led a 23-person board responsible for producing concerts, lectures, and activations that served over 20,000 students, ensuring events were impactful, inclusive, and safe.
